AVBA Manager

Loren Murray

Loren has had many years experience in office administration and management. She was the Office Manager with Ray White for 4 years before starting at the AVBA as the Office Administrator.  She has since grown within the company to become Office Manager and now more recently the AVBA Manager. 

She has completed her Certificate III in Business Administration and is also studying a Bachelor of Communications Majoring in Journalism at University.

She spends her spare time relaxing at home on the Gold Coast with her partner Kaleb, their Pomeranian x Chihuahua named Charlie and their cat Patch.  Loren also shares a strong passion for photography and writing.

Website Manager

Megan Livingston

Megan has worked in accounting and administration for the past 15 years - including working from 2003 to 2005 for Vetmark and AVPMA.

Megan rejoined the AVBA team in 2008 as the Website Development Manager.  She is thrilled to be part of the team once again, and is enjoying her new role.

Megan's weekends are occupied spending time with her 6 year old son, and furthering her studies in photography . As well as photography, she is passionate about reading, cooking and vegetable gardening.

Administration Officer

Jessica Gorniak

Jessica joined the AVBA team in June 2010. She previously worked for SJM Plumbing, a Gold Coast plumbing company in administration and accounts for 2 and half years while she completed her diploma of Graphic Design and Pre-Press.

As well as continuing on with her diverse administration role, Jessica has recently started doing the graphic design work for the AVBA and enjoys expressing her creativity in art, graphics and photography in her spare time. 

She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, family and friends at every chance she gets.

Jessica also takes pleasure in going to the gym to keep fit and healthy and spending days at the beach with her much loved dog Ellie whenever she gets a chance.

Office Receptionist

Kathy Williams

Kathy has worked in numerous administration environments on the Gold Coast.

She has a 7 year old son and enjoys spending her spare time with him.  She also enjoys spending her time with her partner and toy poodle cross lhasa apso, Noodle.

Kathy is passionate about animals and enjoys reading, dancing and all kinds of music.

AVBA Magazine

Susan Halloran BVSc, GCM(VP)

Sue developed an interest in writing, editing and desk top publishing as an adjunct to her role as veterinarian and owner/manager of an ASAVA accredited Hospital of Excellence in Mt Evelyn, Victoria.

In a varied career Sue was also Practitioner in Residence at Melbourne University, advisor to TV’s ‘A Country Practice’ and a private contractor in Sydney.

Sue has a passionate belief in the need to improve veterinary practice management for the betterment of the entire veterinary industry and was a founding member of the AVPMA.

Sue has been honoured to receive the AVA Meritorious Service Award, ASAVA Distinguished Service Award and the Belle Bruce Reid Medal in recognition of her contributions to the profession.

When not exploring the world, she lives in Sydney with the love of her life, Jim Allen and her other loves - their cats Ottie & Sassy.
